Friday evening through Sunday afternoon covers the compact downtown, one substantial river outing, Basque history, and one foothills walk. Keep farther Treasure Valley stops for an optional extension.

Check in downtown, walk past the Idaho State Capitol, and choose dinner near 8th Street or the Basque Block.

Begin on the Greenbelt near Julia Davis Park, pause at the Anne Frank Memorial or a museum, then give the Basque Museum and historic block a separate afternoon window.

Walk or ride beneath the Greenbelt cottonwoods.

Start near Julia Davis Park and choose a turnaround before riding beyond the planned return distance. Slow at crossings and share the path with walkers, runners, families, and cyclists.

Afternoon

Cross into the Basque Block and downtown museums.

Visit the Basque Museum while its galleries are open, ask whether the boardinghouse is available, then add one nearby downtown stop. Saturday hours can be brief, so confirm the museum schedule before leaving the Greenbelt.
